1. Tariff- Provides the detailed list describing the quiptment or services involved.

2. Filling- Witten from of a tariff.

3. Universal Service - A term used in the Communication Act 1934 ,"to make available so far as posible to all people of the US a rapid , efficient, nationwide and worldwide wire and radio netowrk communications,service with adequte facilities at reasonable charges."

4. Settlement- an agreement

5. Traffic-sensitive- Toll operators and there equipment.

6. Toll Rate Averaging- The charge to the end user for toll calls was uniform for callls of equal distance and duration.

7. High Density Route- Meands there was a lot of toll traffic at all times between two cities.

8. Low Density Route- Carries relatively little toll traffic

9. Usage Sensitive Priceing(USP)- Th suscriber pay for only the amount fo telephone service used.
